In Proverbs 29:18 it is said that "Where there is no vision the people perish." End Time Harvesters International Ministries (ETHIM) is a vision to serve our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, by practically obeying his command to make disciples of all nations (Mt 28:19-10).
We envision our passionate and sacrificial sharing of the good news of Christ's death and resurrection to the unsaved of our city, country and the world at large.
Within Belgium, we believe God has called us along side reaching the unsaved with the gospel irrespective of race or culture to have a close focus on the citizens by origin.
For the accomplishment of this, ETHIM will be an equipping arena (centre) where both men and women can be properly developed to their full potential for ministry—every Christian a minister.
This empowering will be experienced through biblical preaching, teaching and practice that is relevant to life in the following:
- Creative, inspiring fellowship
- Passionate and aggressive evangelism.
- Vital worship as a lifestyle
- Progressive discipleship—developing spiritual maturity that moves our members into action as they realize the total transformation of life toward Christ-likeness, which is what ministry is all about (Col 1:28-29)
- Intentional, well-planned structure for uncovering, mobilizing and supporting the giftedness of our members (ministry-service)
- Outreach opportunities into the world in service
- Helping our members—youths as well as adults—to discover their divine purpose so that they are prepared to serve Christ effectively.
It is a vision of empowering every member for a personal and corporate life mission in the world.
Thus Belgium and our entire world will be different in the next fifteen to twenty years, with a Christian influence in every sphere of life. We further intend to multiply our worldwide ministry by recruiting, training and sending out many of our gifted and talented members as missionaries, church planters, and church workers all over the world. We envision a number of members pursuing short-term and long-term missions service in various parts of the world.
We envision a very large permanent property which will serve as ministry headquarters with beautiful, yet simple facilities, including a worship centre seating at least a thousand, a prayer centre, classrooms for training lay ministers. All of this will be designed to minister to the total person—spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially.
We further envision our involvement in eliminating illiteracy in the underdeveloped countries through formal institutions of learning ranging from nursery to high school. Our involvement in the area of health care cannot be over-emphasized based on our monastic, holistic worldview of salvation.
Furthermore, on our hearts is a very strong burden for the poor both in Belgium and other continents of the world, not only to pray or preach to them but much more, to be sensitive to their physical needs in terms of food, dresses, shelter, and medications even as they were one of the primary concern of Jesus Christ while he was here on earth.
Our Mission is to creatively implement the Great Commission
(Mt 28:18-20) to build a growing community of churches all over the world by planting culturally relevant churches that are committed to dynamic worship and sacrificial passion for extending the holistic, transforming message of salvation. Members of these churches, individually and corporately, will be trained as agents of reconciliation in their generation both as senders and as goers fulfilling Christ's command (Mt 24:14).
Faith, Action & Sacrifice.
Every human being is created for a specific purpose and is designed and equipped in terms of gifts and talents for the fulfilment of that unique purpose.
