The E.T.H.I.M: Centre of Victory for All Nations Youths for Christ movement (EYC) is a multicultural group made up of young boys and girls of different nations. It was created in 2009 and since then it has been under the dynamic leadership of Sister Melienqueen . We have youths from Cameroon, Nigeria, Suriname, Holland, Angola, Belgium etc.
Our aim is to mentor and equip our youths to develop a faith that exists in and out of the church building. A walk with Christ that is dynamically lived out and shared beyond the church walls.
Romans 12:1: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.”
Luke 9:23: “Then he said to them all: ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’”
As young people we are very energetic and zealous. We teach our youths to be zealous for the things of God and to use the energy in us to make a difference between circular youths and Christian youths. Therefore we organise activities such as youth day, movie nights, camping, BBQ, youth seminars where you listen a youth preach, watch them dance (Gospel, R&B, Hip Hops) and sing to the glory of God.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say; I have no pleasure in them.”
